Why I started a roofing company
I'm Joshua DSpain. I've owned a gutter company, Brothers Gutters, in the St. Louis market for more than five years. Nextdoor Roofing and Exteriors exists because of what I kept seeing on the roofs above those gutters.
What I saw
A lot of this industry is people slinging shingles. Homeowners sign for a roof without really knowing what they're getting. Many end up with a cheaper product than they realize, or miss out on a much better one that would have cost only a little more than their insurance was already paying.
That's not the homeowner's fault. Nobody explained the options.
